About NEXU

An agency that only knows one industry

Most agencies serve whoever calls. That means the person writing your ad copy this month wrote copy for a dental practice last month, and the benchmarks they judge your campaign against come from industries where a click costs two dollars instead of two hundred.

Why legal only

Legal marketing is genuinely different. The buying behavior is unlike anything in retail or professional services: a criminal defense client decides within an hour of an arrest, an estate planning client thinks about it for two years, and a divorce client researches privately for months before contacting anybody.

The advertising is regulated. Bar rules govern testimonials, past results, claims of specialization and direct solicitation, they differ by state, and they are enforced. An agency that does not know them writes copy that puts your license at risk.

And the economics are brutal. Legal keywords are among the most expensive on Google anywhere in the world. In an environment where a wasted click costs more than most businesses pay for a lead, structure and message match are not optimizations, they are the difference between a program that works and one that quietly drains a budget.

Attorneys check whether an agency is legal only before they call, and they are right to. So we made it simple: this is all we do.

How we work

One industry

We market law firms. Only law firms. Every benchmark we hold, every ad account we have structured and every landing page we have written is legal. Nothing we know is borrowed from another industry.

One firm per market

We take a single firm per practice area per market. We will never be optimizing two accounts against each other, and we will tell you plainly when a seat is already taken.

You own everything

Ad accounts, analytics, profiles, content, creative and phone numbers are created in your firm's name. If we part ways, you keep all of it, working.

Signed matters, not form fills

Reporting is built around cost per signed matter. Clicks and impressions are diagnostics, not results, and we will not pad a report with them.

Bar rules are the brief

Advertising rules on testimonials, results, specialization claims and solicitation vary by state and they are enforced. Copy is written inside those limits and approved by your firm before it publishes.

We will tell you no

If your intake will waste the spend, if the market is too contested for your budget, or if we are simply not the right fit, we will say so on the first call rather than take the engagement.

What the first month looks like

We start with an audit: your current campaigns, your local search presence, your website, your reviews and, most importantly, your intake. What happens to a call at nine on a Saturday night usually tells us more about your growth ceiling than the ad account does.

From there we agree a plan with a specific budget and specific targets, build the tracking so every inquiry carries its source through to your intake, and get the first channel live. Reporting starts in month one and is tied to signed matters from the beginning.
